Language Arts:
Each week we will focus on 5 high frequency words (word wall words) that are difficult to sound out phonetically. It is important to practice these words at home on a regular basis as they are essential in supporting literacy skill development. Students are expected to know how to recognize and read each word. Math: We are continuing to count, represent, compose and decompose various numbers to 20 and will soon begin working with higher numbers. Science: We are studying the season of fall! We are looking at the changes we see in the environment around us (plants, animals, amount of daylight, temperature) and the changes we have to make in our daily lives. Friendly Reminders:

Colour Week: Starting on Wednesday, September 18th 2019, we will begin working on some colour themed activities. We are asking that children try to wear something showing the colour of the day. Here is a schedule to help your child dress for the colour of the day.
